10 in-class quizzes, approximately one per topic, each comprising a single question randomly selected from that week's homework.
Normally held during the last 15 minutes of Friday lectures.

Answering in-class questions using the i>Clicker. This is completely optional, but earning it might boost you from a "−" letter grade to a solid letter (e.g. from B− to B) or a solid letter to a "+" (e.g. from B to B+).
