MP7: Choice of three labs

For MP7 this year, we are offering the choice of three different lab assignments. Do any one of the following. For extra credit, do two, or do the extra credit part of MP7c.

• Option (a): Metric learning/Mahalanobis distance/Relevance feedback.
• Option (b): Video shot boundary detection
• Option (c): Neural networks.

For the theory part of your narrative, you can draw from any source that seems relevant to you. Here are a few Wikipedia pages that have some information that looks useful:
