flipitPhysics

You will need to get flipitPhysics access and do the first Prelecture and Checkpoint before you go to the first lecture.

  1. Go to http://flipitphysics.com.
  2. Click on the Register button, and create an account using your < NetID@illinois.edu > email address
  3. Complete your profile, then click on the Enrollments Tab
  4. Click on the Join a Course link and enter P211SP20
  5. Enter your NetID (e.g. whatever is in front of @illinois.edu in your email address) and click Enroll Course

You will need to join a second (FREE) FlipItPhysics class in order to have access to the course lab materials. The instructions below assume you have already signed up for FlipItPhysics as described above.

  1. Go to http://flipitphysics.com and log into your account, (or if you are already logged in just click the account link at the top).
  2. Click on the Join a Course link and enter a code that depends on the day you have your lab
    P211SP20_L1 for Monday lab sections (L1A, L1B, L1E, L1F, L1J, L1K, L1M)
    P211SP20_L2 for Tuesday lab sections (L2A, L2B, L2E, L2F, L2J, L2K, L2M, L2N, L2R)
    P211SP20_L3 for Wednesday lab sections (L3A, L3B, L3E, L3F, L3J, L3K, L3M, L3N)
    P211SP20_L4 for Thursday lab sections (L4A, L4B, L4E, L4F, L4J, L4K)
  3. Enter your NetID (e.g. whatever is in front of @illinois.edu in your email address) and click Enroll Course.
  4. If you join the wrong FlipItPhysics lab course by mistake, or if you change to a lab section on a different day, then don't worry - just join correct FlipItPhysics lab course and start doing your work in that one instead. Do not withdraw from a FlipItPhysics Lab class once you have done work in it or you will not get credit for that work.

Lecture

Students must be on time and prepared for lecture.

Laboratory

Students must be on time and prepared for labs.

Discussion

Students must be on time and prepared for discussion.
