This semester in PHYS 101 we will be taking our hour exams electronically!

Where will I take my exam?
You will take your exam in room 257 Loomis, the computer lab on the second floor of Loomis Lab.

When will I take my exam?
You will have the opportunity to sign up to take your exam in designated timeslots on the days listed below.

What days are the exams being held?
The PHYS 101 Hour Exam dates are:

Exam 1 Wednesday 21 February through Friday 23 February 2018
Exam 2 Wednesday 28 March through Friday 30 March 2018
Exam 3 Wednesday 18 April through Friday 20 April2018


Who will proctor my exam?
Your exam will be proctored by the TA staff for PHYS 101.

May I bring a formula sheet and scratch paper to the exam?
No, a formula sheet and scratch paper will be provided.  All papers will be collected at the end of the exam.

How long is the exam?
Exams are 90 minutes long.  They typically have between 22 and 26 questions.

Exam Preparation

Previous final exams are not available.

Final Exam

The final exam will be three hours in length and will cover material from the whole semester.

A combined final exam (for both lectures) and a conflict exam will be administered.
