Quest 2 is coming up!


Friday, September 21 - Monday, September 24

You need to sign up for the Quest on CBTF's website. If for some reason you cannot make it to your scheduled time, you must reschedule your time by simply clicking on "change" in CBTF's reservation site.


You take the Quests at the Computer Based Testing Facility located in Room 57 Grainger Engineering Library . For an ADA map of the basement floor in Grainger, click here.

Content of Quest 2:

The main topics covered in Quest 2 are "Motion with constant acceleration" and "1D Relative Motion" (see lectures Lecture 2 and Lecture 3), but there will also be questions within content covered earlier in the semester.

How to prepare:

There are two Practice Quests for Quest 2. You access the Practice Quests on PrairieLearn by clicking on Sign in with Illinois and choosing PHYS100: Thinking About Physics, Fall 2018.


We will be using i>clickers in every lecture. You can use either the older v1 or the newer v2 i>clickers. If you have not already done so, please register your clicker in your student gradebook and follow the instructions. Having another student answer questions using your clicker is considered cheating.

Excused Absences

The only course components eligible to be issued a grade of EX are discussions, labs and exams (except for the final). Please submit your excused absence no later than 12 business days from your absence via the Excused Absences application.
