Subject offerings of new and developing areas of knowledge in nuclear, plasma, and radiological engineering intended to augment the existing curriculum. Section Description
Solution of System of Non-Linear Equations. Solutions of systems of non-linear equations arising in physical models and discretized partial differential equations. Project-based course with practical application to engineering problems. Fixed point iteration, Newton's method, inexact Newton's method, Boyden's method, multi-physics coupling.
Prerequisite: CS 450 or equivalent.
