About the Course

This course is intended to provide a practical understanding to optics/light  for engineering and science students who are non-specialists. Students will be introduced to basic concepts in electromagnetic fields and waves as they pertain to imaging and measurement science. An emphasis will be placed on current phenomena and technologies. Advanced background in electromagnetics is not required.
