Grading policy

The students will be graded on the following two components:

  • Scribing(50%): Each student will have to scribe three different lectures during the course. You need to indicate your preference for the lecture in the link provided below in no more than three different rows (each row corresponds to a lecture) in the following format: name(email-id). Following each lecture, you will be provided a set of relevant reading references and the goal of the scribing is to write a coherent and logically sound lecture notes drawing upon the content from the reading materials and from the class notes. It is implicit that you understand the reading material and present them in a readable and logical format while doing the same. Please refrain from copy-pasting the phrases from the papers.

  • Course Project(50%): Towards the end of the course, you will need to give a short presentation on the course project that you are assigned. You will be assessed based on the project report in a pre-specified format (not more than 8 pages) and your presentation. A list of possible topics and ideas for the project will be floated soon
