How to interpret your score on the second midterm

mean 32.7, median 32.5, range [11.5,49.5] out of 50 points

The histogram can be seen on compass.  Notice that the distribution
has a reasonable shape, but the whole thing is low.  Most likely
explanation is that the exam was too long.

Approximate letter grades

    >= 39    A
    >= 33    B  (*)
    >= 27.5  C
    >= 21.5  D
    >= 20    D-/F borderline
    < 20     F

(*) The mismatch between this and the median value of 32.5 is a
quantization artifact.  The B/C line is basically at the median.
