CEE 598 WTH - Water Treatment Case Histories

Section Description

A series of drinking water treatment case histories will be presented dealing with several water treatment processes including adsorption, chemical oxidation, chemical precipitation, disinfection and membrane treatment to remove contaminants, as well as with the chemistry of drinking water treatment and distribution. Information from the instructor?s field experiences will be presented and alternative approaches to solve real problems will be developed. Prerequisites: Credit CEE 537, Water Quality Control Processes I, or equivalent.
