Subject offerings of new and developing areas of knowledge in civil and environmental engineering intended to augment the existing curriculum. See Class Schedule or departmental course information for topics and prerequisites. Course Information: 1 to 4 undergraduate hours. 1 to 4 graduate hours. May be repeated in the same or separate terms if topics vary.

Course Description

Construction Equipment & Methods employs student-group analysis of existing buildings and their accompanying original construction documents to explore building construction starting from contractor mobilization and continuing through structural construction, envelope and cladding systems, and mechanical systems. All topics are viewed through the lens of site logistics planning and equipment management with an emphasis on 3D modeling as a logistics management tool.
