AE 403 - Spacecraft Attitude Control

Official Description

Theory and applications of spacecraft attitude dynamics and control; Euler angles, direction cosines, quaternions, and Gibbs-Rodrigues parameters; attitude sensors and control actuators; spin, three-axis active, reaction wheel, control moment gyro, and gravity gradient control systems; environmental effects. Course Information: 3 undergraduate hours. 3 or 4 graduate hours. Prerequisite: AE 352 and AE 353.
