Homework Quizzes (6) 60%
Exam 1 20%

  • Homework assignments will be posted each week and should be completed by Friday. Students are permitted to collaborate on the problems and are encouraged to discuss them on the ECE 310 Piazza forum. Homework is not collected or graded. Solutions will be posted a few days before the corresponding quiz.

  • There will be brief homework quizzes every Friday in class. Each quiz is closely based on the homework problems. They are graded as 0/10, 5/10, or 10/10, and the lowest two quiz grades will be dropped. No notes are permitted during the quizzes.

  • There will be two in-class (1-hr duration) midterm exams.

  • The midterm exams are closed-book. However, you can bring one 8.5“ by 11” sheet of handwritten notes to each midterm exam.
