- Two mid-term exams:
- The first mid-term exam will be a take-home exam. We plan to post the exam by 6 pm on Monday, October 6, 2014, and it will be due by 9 a.m. on Wednesday, October 8. The material covered through October 3, and any associated readings, will be included for this exam. If you have a conflict with the above schedule, please contact the instructor to make alternate arrangements.
- The second mid-term exam will be a take-home exam. We plan to post the exam by 6 pm on Wednesday, November 5, 2014, and it will be due by 9 a.m. on Friday, November 7. The material covered through November 3, and material
on Atomic Snapshot Object discussed on November 4, and associated readings with these materials, will be included for this exam. If you have a conflict with the above schedule, please contact the instructor to make alternate arrangements.

Final examination:
The final exam will be held during 8:00-11:00 a.m. on December 18, 2014, Thursday in room 3015 ECEB (the location is the same as the usual location for the lectures for this class).
The final examination
will be comprehensive (all material covered in the course
and associated required readings included).
The final exam will be open-book open-notes.
