Re-grade requests for exam 2 are due Monday 11/9 at 5pm. Please write a clear explanation on a
separate sheet of paper and staple it to the front of your exam. You can turn in your re-grade request to
HW box 32 (labeled Fliflet).
Exam solutions will be posted after 5pm on 11/9.
Exam 3 is in two weeks: Tuesday 11/17 7-8:15pm.
The exam is closed book and closed notes except that you will be allowed a total of 1 3" x 5" double
sided card of notes. The note card must be handwritten (no typing/photocopying) and it must not be
larger than 3" x 5".
You will only be allowed 1 note card total, i.e. NOT a new one plus your old one.
No calculators are allowed.
The exam will cover lectures 1-32 and HWs 1-12. The exam is cumulative, but will be primarily focused
on material since exam 2, i.e. lectures 23-32 and HWs 9-12. About 20% of the exam will be true/false
and/or multiple choice questions. The rest of the exam will be standard problems of similar
length/difficulty as past exams. In fact, 1 problem will be almost identical to a question from a past
midterm #3 and 1 problem will be very similar to a question from HWs 9-12 (hint: study the past exams
posted online and your HWs).
The room assignments are:
DCL 1320: Sections A and E (9am, 1pm)
Gregory Hall 213: All of section C and last names A-K of section X (11am and part of noon)
Psych 23: All of section P and last names L-Z of section X (2pm and part of noon)

taking the conflict. Note that if you are taking the conflict exam, you will not be allowed to leave the
exam room until 6:45pm.
There will be special office hours on Monday 11/16 at 9A, 11A, noon, and 1pm in ECEB 2017 instead of
lecture. Section P will have its usual computer lab class on Monday 11/16 at 2pm.
