Laplacians on Networks and Meshes

We will define Laplacians on networks and meshes and apply these to scientific computing, machine learning, and computer graphics. Class will include sessions on Python programming, the language to be used for our experiments. No prior experience in Python or numerical analysis required.

Lecture Notes: Theory : printed copy handed out in class; Lab : labnotes made available on the subversion (svn) repository for the class.

Class Format: Lectures and lab sessions by instructor. Tuesdays will be lab sessions in CSIL computer lab, Room 0220, Siebel Center. I will teach python programming, and use of PyDEC and other package. Thursdays will be theory lectures in Room 1103, Siebel Center.
