IMPORTANT: To hand in your MP, you must log on to any EWS machines.
To hand in your files, make sure that the MP files are in your
current directory. (If you haven't created any directories then
your
MP files should be located in your home directory so you will NOT
have to change your directory).
Open a terminal window to get a
Linux prompt. To do so, go to Applications, Accessories, then
Terminal. At the Linux prompt type
/class/cs357/handin/mp3_handin.sh
which will upload your program files (.m files) located in your
current directory.
While handing in your programs, you might be
asked for username and/or password. If prompted for username,
enter
your netid. And, if prompted for password, enter your AD (Active
Directory) password.
If the handin is successful you will be given a URL where your files are uploaded. To make sure that your MP files have been uploaded correctly, type that URL into your web browser to see the actual files that will be graded. When you enter that URL, you will be asked for username and password. Again, the username is your netid. And, the password is your AD (Active Directory) password.
As stated in the handin program, you can handin multiple times if you wish. Each handin will be kept as a separate copy. Only the latest copy will be graded. The TAs will not begin grading until after the due date.
