Expected Course Outcomes
By the end of class, students will be able to:
- Understand general human pathology and use this information when considering how biological measurements can be made to detect pathological changes.
- Understand how cells and tissues adapt in response to pathological changes.
- Describe the pathological processes in cancer and heart disease.
- Understand the instrumentation and chemistry used in the histological preparation and examination of tissue.
- Recognize histopathological changes in tissue microstructure.
